Providence House 1 of organizations who aid victims of violence in Ocean County

As part of the celebration of women's history month, OCC played host to Providence House, an organization that helps women who have been victims of domestic abuse. A workshop was held in the Technology Building Mar. 4, and Felicia Mills represented Providence House.

On Mar. 7, the OCC Gamers Club played host to the first campus challenge at 6 p.m.
Students gathered in the Solar Lounge for the reading of the rules and regulations of play; then at 7, the games began.
Two sets of gamers established two games, Halo 3 and Guitar Hero 3-"Let the games begin" was the slogan for the night.

Play ball! The OCC baseball team has begun the season and is 7-2. The season opened with a 3-2 victory over host Mercer County College.
Second baseman Jason Gordon contributed two hits and a stolen base.
Designated hitter Carl Lofaso contributed two doubles and a run batted in.

Five dollars here; two dollars there; they add up. We keep hearing tuition increases are necessary and not that steep. We keep hearing relative to other schools OCC is still a bargain, but at some point even that so-called bargain can become too expensive.
