Play ball! The OCC baseball team has begun the season and is 7-2. The season opened with a 3-2 victory over host Mercer County College. Second baseman Jason Gordon contributed two hits and a stolen base. Designated hitter Carl Lofaso contributed two doubles and a run batted in.
The late, great Chicago Cub Ernie Banks once said, "Let's play two." That is exactly what the Viking women's softball team does every time out. The season began Mar. 15. The Vikings dropped their opening-day pair to Orange County College. The Vikings lost the first game, 11-6.
